Ch. Mar-Kay’s Stowaway by Stober, purchased from the Lenhart’s, bred by Anne Stober.  Later sold to Margi Hamilton.

Ch. Hurd’s Chip, bred and owned by Max E. Hurd and handled to championship by Barbara and Kevin McCormick.   Chip was later exported to Finland.

Ch. Hurd’s Opie Punk pictured winning at the Dallas Chihuahua Club under breeder-judge Carolyn Mooney.  Sired by Ch. Dartan Go For The Gold X Ch. Hurd’s Gingersnap.

Ch. Hurd’s Ima Rickee Too, handled by Terri Lyddon, pictured finishing to his championship.  Bred and owned by Max E. Hurd.

Ch. Hurd Thru the Grapevine, handled by Barbare McCormick, going WB and BW at the Chihuahua of Milwaukee Specialty.  “Blush” was one of our finest and a good producer.

Ch. Hurd’s Gold Charm sired by Ch. Hurd’s Marty II (above and lower right), pictured winning a major, handled by Terri Lyddon.  Charm was bred to Ch Quachitah Beau Chiene and produced the litter (above right) that included Ch. Hurd’s Golden Tomahawk (second from right), one of my all time favorites.

Max and Gerry Hurd ring stewarding at the Council Bluffs Kennel Club Show.  Max is a charter member of CBKC which was founded in the late fifties.  Gerry joined shortly after they were married in 1985.

Ch. Hurd’s Zickery  sired by Hurd’s Witch Doctor X Ch. Quachitah Brienna handled by Barbara McCormick.  Bred and owned by Max E. Hurd.

Ch. Hurd’s Golden Tomahawk sired by Ch. Ouachitah Beau Chiene X Ch. Hurd’s Golden Charm was another of my all time favorites. He was handled to championship by breeder, owner Max E. Hurd and then specialed by Barbara McCormick.

Ch. Hurd’s Hot Shot (Ch. Dartan’s Barbary Coast X Ch. Hurd Thru the Grapevine) winning a major as a puppy, handled by Barbara McCormick for breeder, owner Max E. Hurd.  Hot Shot is the sire of my current leading stud, Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight.
