Ch. Neben’s Jessica of Hurd’s (Ch. Neben’s Solid God Solo X Hurd’s Jane) owned and handled by Max E. Hurd.  Jessica was bred by Mike and Lynn Neben.

Ch. Hurd’s Cremella Geiger (Ch. Rafina Evergreens Hudson X Hurd’s Hush Puppy II) was a joint effort between breeder Max E. Hurd and owner, handler Rita Geiger.

Ch. Show Me’s Mickey De Mouth, bred and owned by Rita Harshbarger, co-owned and handled by Max E. Hurd.  Littermate to Ch. Show Me’s Shasta Be First.

Ch. Show Me’s Shasta Be First, WB, BW and BOS to BOV at the CCofA National Specialty under judge Peggy A. Hogg, trophy presenter Viola Burgos.  Shasta’s daughter “Ch. Hurd’s Lil Babe In The Woods” was also WB at a future CCofA National.

Ch. Misalou’s Mir Mir On The Wall, sired by Ch. Ouachitah Mirror Image, was bred by Delores Masley and purchased by Max E. Hurd.

Ch. Donavin’s Tommygun of Hurd’s (Ch. Hurd’s Golden Tomahawk X Donavin’s Merry Antionette) was bred by Donna Erickson and handled by Peggy Wilson. Owner Teresa Stahl.

Ch. Hurd’s Showing in the Buff (Ch. Hurd’s Golden Tomahawk X Hurd’s Kreme Magnolia) pictured winning under judge Edd Biven.  Buffy was WB and BW at Oklahoma Chihuahua Specialty to finish to championship. 

Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight (Ch. Hurd’s Hot Shot X Simpatica Anna Leigh) bred, owned and handled by Max E. Hurd.  Prom Knight has produced 12 champions including two winners at CCofA National Specialties.

Ch. Donavin’s Willie Impress Hurd, handled by owner Max E. Hurd under judge Terri Lyddon.  Bred by Donna K. Erickson.  Willie was sired by Ch. Hurd’s Wildcat Willie and is presently owned by Martha Abraham.

Ch. Mina’s Andy Anderson, sired by Ch. Ouachitah Kodiak, was bred by Mina Anderson and purchased by Max E. Hurd.  Later sold to Margaret Kyle who finished him to championship.

Ch. Hurd’s String of Pearls, (Ch. Hurd’s Julius Brown X Simpatica Anna Leigh) co-owned by Linda and Cailin Malloy, pictured handled by Cailin.  Breeder Max E. Hurd.  The three puppies are Pearl’s first litter, sire Ch. Misalou’s Mir Mir on the Wall.  Ch. “Spooky” (top right) was Best In Sweepstakes at  CCofA National Specialty.  Litter was bred, owned and handled by Linda & Cailin Malloy.

These four are sired by Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight and their dam is Ch. Show Me Shasta Be First.

Ch. Hurd’s Hello Dolly won at eight straight shows to finish to championship.  Sired by Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight X Hurd’s Amaryllis Aglow.  Bred, owned and handled by Max E. Hurd.

Ch. Hurd’s Storm’n  Norman (Ch. Hurd’s Golden Tomahawk X Ch. Show Me Raisin of Toy Valley) came out at three years of age and won 11 points his first weekend.  Bred, owned and handled by Max E. Hurd.

Hurd’s Jose Hombre (Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight X Hurd’s Kiss of Kaila) one of my back yard champions. Retired needing a major to finish but was beautiful off lead and a favorite.

Ch. Show Me’s Selene (Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight X Ch. Show Me’s Raisin of Toy Valley) bred by Max E. Hurd, pictured winning a major.  Owned and handled by Rita Harshbarger.

Another of my back yard champions.  Hurd’s One Tuff Tiger (Ch. Hurd’s Storm’n Norman X Ch. Neben’s Jessica of Hurd’s) proved to be too tough for me to finish.  Retired needing a major, and is busy grabbing my pant leg and shaking the dickens out of it, here at home.  Tiger is the sire of Ch. Hurd’s Bentley at Harmony.

ch. Hurd’s Calander Girl (Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight X Hurd’s Amaryllis Aglow) WB, BW and BOV for a large major.  “Charm” was also Best Bred by Exhibitor In Show at the CCofA National Specialty under judge Sandra Goose Allen.

Ch. Fandango Blaze of Glory-S, sired by Fandango  Rock M World-S X Mar-Rich’s I Feel Lucky-L) bred, owned and handled by David and Karen Hamling.  Later purchased by Max E. Hurd.  Blaze is the sire of 9 champions and is at stud at Hurd’s.  His grandsires are Ch. Neben’s Solid Gold Solo and Ch. Mar-Rich ‘N Mina’s Rumor Has It.  His litter sister and daughter tied for Top Producing Matron-CCofA Award of Merit. And you all saw his granddaughter “Bling’s” pictures in the magazines last year!

Little girls, but fun girls.  Littermates sired by Ch. Q-Tee’s M’Tuff X Ch. Hurd’s Golden Soloist.  Bred and owned by Max E. Hurd and Sherry Bryant, handled by Max E. Hurd.

Both girls then went to pet homes.  Mia weighs 2 1/2 lbs. and Megga 3 1/4 lbs.

Ch. Hurd-Shar’s Flyin Hi Over TX (Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight X Hurd’s My Fair Lady). bred by Max E. Hurd and Co-owned and handled by Sharon Massad.  Pictured placing in Puppy Toy Group at the Progressive Dog Show and then finishing to championship in Texas.  Now owned by Sharon Massad.

Ch. Hurd’s Peggy Sue sired by Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight X Hurd’s Kissimee Kate first (left) pictured winning Best Puppy In Sweepstakes at the Land of Lincoln Chihuahua Specialty long time breeder judge Myrle Hale.  She then went on to be WB and Best Bred By Exhibitor In Show at the CCofA National Specialty under judges Peggy A. Hogg and Edd Bivin.  She was also RWB the previous day at the Nashville Chihuahua Specialty.

Ch. Hurd’s You Still My Heart pictured winning a 5 point major under breeder judge Bradley Jenkins at the Kansas Toy Dog Specialty.  “Stella” is sired by Ch. Q-Tee’s M’Good X Hurd’s Let Us Fandango.

Ch. Hurd’s Blazetta sired by Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight X Hurd’s Amaryllis Aglow, pictured winning WB and BW for her second major over the Sioux Valley KC weekend of shows under William Cunningham. 

Ch. Hurd’s Watts On Your Mind, (Ch. McCormick  X Ch. Hurd’s Lil Babe In The Woods) pictured winning a 4 pt. major to finish to championship, handled by Rita Geiger.  Both of Walter ‘s parents and 3 out of 4 of his grandparents were Winners at CCofA National Specialties.

Ch. Hurd’s Bentley at Harmony (Hurd’s One Tuff Tiger X Hurd’s Kiss of Kaila) pictured winning a 5 point major on the Sunflower Cluster to finish to his championship.  He was also BOS to Best Puppy in Sweepstakes at the Land of Lincoln Chihuahua Specialty under  judge Mryle Hale.

My favorite “Couch Potato”  ANNIE, aka Simpatica Anna Leigh is sired by Ch. Hurd’s Golden Tomahawk X English Import Sanvi Rebbeca.  Annie is the dam of Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight and Ch. Hurd’s String of Pearls  and has many champion grandchildren to her credit.  While never shown I would dare say Annie has been to more dog shows than any of my show dogs.

Oh yes!  I’m an “Annie” great grandson.  I’m Ch. Hurd’s We Love You Conrad sired by Ch. Conemara Show Me Spike X Hurd’s Angie Baby pictured winning a major under judge Janice Earl at the St. Joseph KC show.  Conrad’s three daughters from his first litter are pointed.  Conrad promises to be a very good producing stud.

Three full sisters sired by Ch. Q-Tee’s M’Good X Ch. Hurd’s Golden Soloist, are co-bred by Max E. Hurd and Sherry Bryant.  Top left is Ch. Hurd Q-Tee’s Mystical Gold  pictured winning a major under judge Frank Summerside. Her littermate (right below) is Ch. Hurd’s Q-Tee Sweet Dreams Suzy winning a major under judge Edd Bivin and above right is their older sister Ch. Hurd’s Oklahoma Gold.  “Okie” was handled by Rita Geiger and is pictured finishing to championship under judge Paula Hartinger.  All three are new mothers.  Watch for their babies in the show ring.

Ch. Hurd’s Leader of the Pack, sired by Ch. Hurd’s Watt’s On Your Mind X Hurd’s Darlin Debutante, is a beautiful moving dog with great topline and tailset.  Debutante is a litter sister to Ch. Hurd’s Prom Knight.

Ch. Hurd’s Blazin The Way At Lamar bred by Max E. Hurd, owned and handled by Gayle Essex is pictured winning a 4 pt. major to finish under judge Ken McDermott.  His sire Ch. Fandango Blaze of Glory-S also finished with a 4 pt. major under judge McDermott.

Hurd’s Small Town Talk is currently being shown and is pictured winning a 4 point major.  “Spice” is sired by Ch. Hurd’s We Love You Conrad X Hurd’s Happy Hulda.  Bred, owned and handled by Max E. Hurd.

Ch. Hurd’s Showing in the Buff pictured going WB, BW and Best Bred By In Show at the Oklahoma Specialty a few years ago.  Buffy (Ch. Hurd’s Golden Tomahawk X Hurd’s Kreme Magnolia) was a beautiful bitch but unfortunately died on the operating table with her first litter.
